Shoes or no Shoes? Museum

New shoe museum in Belgium, based on the collection of tribal and ethnic shoes, accumulated by Mr. Habraken. Another part of the collection contains hundreds of pairs of shoes, worn by famous artists all over the world.
Museum is housed in a special building, which is in itself a very interesting architectural attraction. The museum is equipped with the best display and communication facilities. This museum is sponsored and maintained by the joint efforts and generous contribution of the Belgian companies Cortina and Fla Europe.

Karen Augusta Antique Lace and Fashion

Karen Augusta is one of the best dealers in antique vintage clothing. For over thirty years, she has devoted her professional time to studying and collecting antique clothing, lace, linens and textiles. Karen consults with museums, historical societies, estate planners, auctioneers and individual collectors as well as fashion designers, magazine editors and film/theatre costumers.

She exhibits at many quality antiques and specialty shows throughout the northeast. Her web site, www.antique-fashion.com, attracts well over 45,000 international visitors each month.  Students, teachers, re-enactors and historians use this website as a costume study resource, as well as its companion Museum Archive site (http://www.antique-lace.com) Karen Augusta is a member of The Costume Society of America, a national organization dedicated to the study, history and preservation of costume. She is also a appraiser of antique clothing and lace for the hit PBS series ANTIQUES ROADSHOW..
In 2009 Karen opened a new auction house AugustaACTIONS.
We were honored to acquire several valuable exhibitis to our collection from Karen and we hope to cooperate in future.

Bustledress
Specializing in authentic antique Victorian Bustle dress attire, but selling quality antique, vintage clothes and antique fashion, wedding gowns and antique items from 1800 to 1912. Now expanding our selection to include Civil war items and 1920's Deco accessories. The proprietress, Lisa, is always on a quest for Edwardian and Victorian objects de' elegance with her husband, Don. they have been selling antique clothing and vintage clothes professionally since 1985 with emphasis on the Victorian and Edwardian era. Lisa also an excellent photographer and professional hairstylist penning my first novel. She is also a co-founder of "The Northern California Victorian Society" and gives antique clothing lectures, the latest for the "Romance Writers of America" Berkley chapter. Occasionally Lisa sells on Ebay, under the name "bonnet" since 1998. We, at Shoe-Icons, had the pleasure to buy from Lisa and have always been happy with the shoes and communication.

RoSa Shoes
Roger and Sarah Adams first began their commercial involvement with pointed stilettos in the summer of 1983, and spent several years retailing shoes ranging from original, unworn old stock stiletto-heeled women's fashion shoes from the early 1960s, to the post-punk "alternative" styles produced by the few small London factories still able to make women's shoes with pointy toes.
