About museum

Shoe-Icons company has started a shoe museum, with the idea to show the development of the footwear design in the world. At present museum collection is more than 1500 pairs of shoes, more than 300 pairs of shoe buckles, 250 buttonhooks, large number of stamps, books, cards, photographs and other shoe related printed material. The collection is constantly growing. The museum has articles starting from the 17-th century to modern designer footwear and ethnic shoes.

Among the famous designers represented in the collection are Salvatore Ferragamo, Roger Vivier, Francois Pinet, Andrea Pfister, Manolo Blahnik, Sir Edward Rayne, Terry de Havilland, Patrick Cox, Maud Frizon, Andrew Geller, Stuart Weitzman, Beth and Herbert Levine, Vivienne Westwood and others.

Museum is planning to make exhibitions on various aspects of footwear design.
